The Center is a hub for LGBTQ+ activism and advocacy, and a catalyst for progressive social change. Our advocacy is grounded in creating a strategic policy agenda that features policy analysis, forums, and enforcement efforts.
Elections
The LGBTQ+ community has been historically underrepresented at the polls. The Center is working to combat misconceptions and apathy, and make sure your community understands the impact local and primary elections have on the day to day lives of LGBTQ+ people.

The Center is a proud member of the Equality Federation, a social justice, advocacy, and capacity-building organization serving and supporting state-based LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations. The Center is also a proud member of the New York Civic Engagement Table, a statewide network of organizations working on civic and electoral engagement.
